A little about us
The Hall Homestead was certainly an unexpected blessing. We were already living in an almost completely renovated home in our nearby town and didn’t plan to buy a small farm out in the country. When we were least expecting it, however, this land gave us the opportunity to share our lives here and we accepted excitedly.
Our first year together came with many goodbyes, many “new looks”, and lots of love poured into the very essence of this home. Now, nestled into the cozy feels, we are ready to take the next step into our promise to the land. The promise to love her, care for her, and enter into a partnership with the her and all her creatures. And we plan to do just that! These include working with planetary rhythms such as moon cycles; using seeds collected on site which enhances vitality; and using farm made compost and fertilizers. Utilizing permaculture principles provides healthy ways of producing foods and medicines. |
