Mugwort, Artemisia vulgaris, also sometimes called wild wormwood or felon herb is a rhizomatous herbaceous perennial growing to 5 feet tall. Mugwort can spread aggressively and if not properly managed, can become invasive. It is native to Europe and was introduced to North America by herbalists in the 17th century.
